Background

Prior to becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have had extensive experience working in the public sector and in an educational environment. I have lived with the pressures and demands of the corporate world and know first hand the stress it can produce in our lives, relationships and physical bodies. As a result of my own journey toward growth, I made a choice to change careers mid-life and become a therapist.

Philosophy

I believe that everyone has the capacity to connect to his or her authentic self and learn one's own internal process. I recognize that each one of us is the expert of who we each are. As a psychotherapist, I am honored to walk this path with clients who seek counseling to change and grow to enjoy their life on a deeper level. I believe that life experiences are reflected not only in our thoughts and emotions but are stored in the body on a deep physical level. I offer a holistic therapeutic approach integrating body, mind and spirit in my practice. My style is compassionate, engaging, and mindful. My aim is to provide support within a safe environment as a foundation for the work. Learn more about my therapeutic approach on The Social Network for Wellness .
